Clarkston Rotary’s Community Service Projects
Volunteering for newspaper collections:
In order to complete the newspaper sales for donations on Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th we need 185 volunteers in two hour shifts over the two days in order to fund the shoe program. The volunteers will be collecting at local Clarkston intersections and will be provided with newspapers, street signage, orange barrels, orange vests, hand warmers, and Santa Hats (if wanted). Each day food and drinks will be made available for volunteers. 100% of the donations collected during the two days of newspaper sales are directed into the following weekend’s “Shoes for Kids” program. Volunteers are able to sign up on-line via Signup Genius using the link below.
