City of Pontiac

Tim holds a B.A. in economics and political science, a Masters degree in public policy, and a law degree, all from the University of Michigan. Prior to being elected to the state legislature, Tim was a member of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, and previously served as a member of the Rochester Community Schools Board of Education. Before entering public service, Tim practiced civil rights law, representing employees who experienced discrimination and acts of retaliation in the workplace. Tim was elected Mayor of Pontiac in November 2021 and looks forward to continuing to do the work of making Pontiac a place where its citizens and businesses thrive.
