Eileen has worked for 30 years with teachers and children, the Michigan Virtual High School, and Central Michigan University. She is certified in the construction and maintenance of the Biosand water filter. Eileen is a past president of the Rotary in Troy, Michigan. She has been promoting water filtration for developing countries around the world since 2001 and travels to Nepal each year to check on water and health issues in adopted villages and to begin new projects there. She has facilitated the CAWST (the Center for Affordable Water) Biosand Filter Workshop since 2004.
